Yabesh Thapa was born on August 31, 2002, in Kathmandu. Yabesh Thapa is an artist under Class X presentation best known for his song Lakhau Hajarau. Yabesh was into music through his seniors in Church who helped in building the base for his music. He started songwriting in Grade 7 and has been passionate about the music field since his childhood.
He says he casually wrote the lyrics and has no background story related to the song. With lyrics written for about 1 year, He thought to upload the lyrics on Facebook. The post got a lot of likes and support so he wrote the full lyrics. He had no expectations with the song and was actually shocked to see the immense response of the song.
In an interview with DGS Media, Yabesh told that he caught a cold the day before the recording of Lakhau Hajarau. He recorded Lakhau Hajarau with his runny nose. While he was recording the song, his nose was blocked and was recorded. Everyone burst out in laughter. Lakhau Hajarau was recorded in a day. He got really inspired by the music of Oasis Thapa, Sajjan Raj Vaidya, Vek.
