“Balatkari lai fasi dey” is a rock song by the pioneers of the hard rock scene in Nepal, The Shadows band. This song is a protest against the growing number of rape cases in Nepal and the failure of our government to take proper steps against it.

The Shadows ’Nepal’ are the hard rock icon of Nepal and they scream “Hard Work/Dedication & Hard Rock” all over. They are one of the first hard rock bands from Nepal emerging all the way from Narayangadh, Chitwan. They were the first band to introduce hard rock influence to the Mainstream music industry of Nepal.

They create their songs by taking inspirations from the real life struggles and stories of people. They were able to hit the charts even during their early days with tracks like “Hidne Manche Ladcha”, “Ma” and“Prakriti”. And then later, they came up with the tracks like “Naya Nepal”, “Saayad”, “Aath din”, “Maun brata” and “Budhhda Nepal ko”, showing that they are going to stay true to their original sound and never let down their fans.
