The Edge Band Formed in 1998 in Pokhara, Nepal. The Edge came into the Nepali Rock scene with a self-titled debut in 2000. The video of the single mero aasu from the debut album witnessed a countrywide popularity surge within a week of its official release. The album released new songs hits like jeewan mero, pagal nabhana, and numerous jams and rehearsals.
Jeewan Gurung who is the main vocalist, songwriter, and composer of the band. He is one of the most liked, most searched, and one of the high noted singers in the Nepali music industry. Jeevan Gurung sang more than hundreds of songs and most of them are blockbuster. He and his band have released many albums, won many awards, and have done many national and international concerts. So in this way, the Edge Band was succeeded to be one of the most named and famed bands in Nepali music industries.
Background
In 2006 their second album release Vibes with Bajra recorded. Songs are Thaha Chaina, Kasailai Pani Ma, Jiuna Lai Garo Bho, Lekhiyeka Sabda, Shanti ko Sandesh, and Dukha Diyera. The band added other beautiful numbers like Samjhine Mutu, YoDil Mero, Nachaheko Hoina Timilai, Muskan lea, Timilai, and other many Nepali pop songs in their Album. The released songs helped the band to be more popular. The band performed at many national and international live shows in some international countries like Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Korea, Japan, Dubai, and so many other countries.
